On February 13, Pengshen 6 well of petrochina Southwest Oil and Gas Field Company in Penglai gas Area was successfully drilled and successfully cemented, with the deepest well depth reaching 9026 meters, refreshing the record of Asia's deepest straight well, which is called "underground Everest" in the industry. Luo Pingya, academician of the Chinese Academy of Engineering, believes that the refresh of the record marks the further improvement of the overall level of deep well drilling in China and the realization of the leap from "following" to "and running" on the international circuit.
Among them, TP140V ultra-deep well casing products and 508 large-caliber fast buckle surface casing products independently developed by Tianjin Pipe are used in the key core parts of deep Wells.
Pengshen 6 well, located in Yanting County, Mianyang City, is a key pre-exploration well in the exploration of Dengying Formation (Dengying Formation is a stratum structure of petrostratigraphic unit) in Penglai gas area.
The geological conditions of Pengshen 6 well development reservoir are complex, facing challenges such as ultra-deep depth of more than 9,000 meters, ultra-high temperature of more than 200 degrees, ultra-high pressure of more than 150 mpa and high sulfur content of more than 30 g/m3.
