Recently, the world's first "Wanmiko exploration well" with the most complex geological conditions and the highest drilling difficulty, led by petrochina Southwest Oil and Gas Field, was drilled in the Sichuan Basin.
Tianjin Pipe Manufacturing Co., LTD., a subsidiary of CITIC Pacific Special Steel Group, organized a research and development team to customize a complete casing selection solution for the well, designed and developed 14 kinds of non-standard casing structures. Among them, the 25in(635mm) special connection casing used in the core well section is the largest special connection seamless casing in China at present.
In order to meet the drilling cycle of the project, Tianjin Pipe set up a special project team, and worked with the brother units of CITIC Pacific Special Steel Group, such as Daye Special Steel Co., LTD., Zhejiang Pacific Seamless Steel Pipe Co., LTD., to jointly complete the production task of extra-large caliber casing. At present, the first casing produced by Tianjin Pipe has been transported to the oil field.
"Deep Chuanke 1 Well" led by petrochina Southwest Oil and Gas Field implementation, design well depth of 10,520 meters. Oil and gas drilling 10,000 meters deep is a "super project" in the global oil and gas exploration field, which has become one of the important symbols to measure the level of engineering technology and equipment. Because of its complex geological structure, the "Deep-ground Chuanke 1 well" located in Sichuan Basin has become the world's most difficult 10,000-meter deep well to drill. According to 13 global engineering difficulty indexes, "deep-ground Chuanke 1 Well" ranks first in the world in 7 difficulty indexes.
